Uncle Reco wants you to love what you order. Here's our full policy on returns, exchanges, and your rights as a shopper.
Returns Policy
Uncle Reco accepts returns and exchanges on items that are:
- Unworn and unused
- In original condition with all tags attached
- Returned within the return window (see details below)
Items that have been worn, washed, or damaged are not eligible for return unless they are faulty.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty product or the wrong item, Uncle Reco will offer a full refund or exchange at no cost to you. Please contact us via the contact page with your order number and a description of the issue.
Change-of-Mind Returns
For change-of-mind returns, Uncle Reco offers an exchange or store credit. A cash refund is not available for change-of-mind purchases. Return postage costs are the customer's responsibility for change-of-mind returns.
How to Return an Item
- Contact Uncle Reco via the contact page with your order number and reason for return
- Wait for return authorisation and instructions
- Pack your item securely and post it to the return address provided
- Include a note with your order number inside the parcel
Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different size or style, contact Uncle Reco before sending your item back. We'll confirm availability and guide you through the exchange process.
Your Consumer Rights
Uncle Reco's policies operate in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for major failures and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
